Newark and Sherwood District Council writes:
Active Travel is the term used to describe travelling in a physically active way, such as through walking, wheeling or cycling. Your responses to this survey will help us understand what prevents people from making active journeys and how we can help people to walk, wheel or cycle more often. Please note, the term ‘wheeling’ includes the use of wheelchairs and mobility scooters.
We are running this Active Travel survey in collaboration with Active4Today, Active Notts, Sustrans and Nottinghamshire County Council, to better understand the current barriers faced by communities which stop people from walking, wheeling and cycling, and how we can work as a partnership to overcome these. This survey will take approximately 10 minutes to complete and will close at midday on Monday 5th February 2024. The results will be collated and published on the NSDC website.
